About Me

No, not those type of dreams. Jeez.
This is for my ramblings and for you to pass un-needed precious time ;)
The Writer
> Is Asian
> Is 18 years young
> Is Australian
> Is a rabid fangirl dabbler in Japanese related fandoms
> Is a fanfiction writer, noob artist, non-serious pianist, and likes to read all kinds of randomness
> Delights in verbal word-play, mind-games and witty exchanges. (i.e. likes messing with your head)
> Dreams of travelling the world, discovering things she's never imagined, and finding her purpose.
> Is apparently dirty minded. How come I didn't know this? ;)
You are now 18, and thus begins adulthood (officially anyway) ;) My message to you was in card, so refer to that X]
Is there a word opposite of FOB? To describe a kid who is Chinese but stuffs it up because he was born here? I.e. To describe my brother? See, we bought 4 punnets of strawberries, and gave 2 to gran. This is what happens. Brother: *Puts bag on table* Gran: Dai yut gaw fan uk kay la (Take one home to eat) What brother means to say: Ngor dei mai zhaw sei gaw ah (We bought four) What he says: Ngor dei mai zhaw, sei zhaw lah (We bought some, they died already)
XD
Life for the past week has consisted of an anime marathon of sorts. I have completed three anime (or whats been released anyway). They are 'Eden of the East' (11 eps), 'Pandora Hearts' (20 eps) and 'Kuroshitsuji' (24 eps)
Pandora Hearts has the prettier art imo. This is a scene thats not really clear cause of crappy video quality and cutting and editting. The style is wow even though anime is never to the same detail as manga. That's my opinion =/ Some people prefer anime, I'm aware. Then there's the people who love drama, like my sister. Sometimes I cringe at the stuff she watches: even though it uses actors and real life, it seems like the issues in some are less than realistic. Truthfully, the themes occasionally disgust me to the point I get in a mopey mood and need an anti-drug of some angst-filled anime/book/song/other. I am not not emo (=.=" such an abused word isn't it?), but I don't particularly like sugar-coating things either. So ironically, sometimes the best way to escape all the illusions making 'reality', is to escape into an implicit incorporation existing in a nice, sensible imagined world =]
#2, Kuroshitsuji has the better manga art X] It reminds me of Yukimachiya *swoons* Somewhat cliche, it tells of the deal between a demon and a child but I like the instrumentals. Music creates so much more feeling than words ever could in anime. In life? I wonder...
BUT, best storyline goes to Eden of The East. Character design almost tuned me out but happy I stayed. The storyline is at times convoluted, but it reflects its themes. Human society is a complicated place after all and one person's ideals are blasphemy to another. Many plots seem to happen simultaneously but it works. Terrorism, ideologies, search for identity (Jap Ext is influencing meh too much X.X), etc. Despite the storyline, characters ARE slightly lacking in development and bit of depth =/ Buuut, if anyone gets bored, here's a linky:::http://www.animecrazy.net/
Remember to fill in your UAC forms. I thought everyone knew it was online but apparently not, so here's a little reminder that it is ;)

My archives? Why would you want to see those o_0
For lack of HTML/CSS manipulation skill reasons beyond me, to access archives involves going to posts, clicking on the relevant option from the drop down menu, and THEN
navigating back to posts again to see the selected archive. Weird huh?
