City is a workout
When everyone was arriving at UNSW yesterday and getting free stuff and lectures, 6 desolate Hurlstone kids were waiting in an examination room, being sized up by a couple hundred other kids who all looked like they'd kick our asses.
They kicked mine, lol. X.X
Ok.
BEFORE EXAM: We're gonna go UNSW Open Day after this.
DURING EXAM: What Open Day?
THE HOUR AFTER EXAM: Let's eat then go Open Day.
AT CENTRAL: Let's just eat and hang in the city. Scrap Open Day.
Soooo, we ended up going to RamenKan, yummy. Then couple that with eating out for dinner, I am starting to feel I needed all those stairs at UNSW. Drats. Oh well. Try walking in the dark for over a km at night in high heels, it takes effort.
Interlude: Dad just gave me his scratchies to play for him, got $100 X]
Umm, other than stuffing our faces yesterday, we (being David, Uzma, Sarah, Nick, and yours truly) went for a trek round market city. Only Nick and Sarah managed to buy anything. The rest of us just fail at shopping T.T Then played DDR with David at arcade, which only further yielded how unhealthy I've become. After just half a song on Heavy, I died and retreated to standard. Then fell out of round three altogether. David survived all three songs with flying colours. Thank god for David =] Umm, we ran into others afterwards from UNSW, can't list everyone cause I know I'll miss someone. Then, off to Kino it was! 20% off sale! *squeal*. Bought two manga, I'm happy, my wallet ain't.
When we were going home, Uzzi and I decided that the railway personnel/guards/security sucks. We bought tickets at Central see, but wanted to get on at Town Hall cause was right under Kino. We went to side of gates to ask guards if was alright with those tickets. We say something. They see us but don't seem to care. We slip past the gate and three personnel. And voila, my review of Cityrail: I love you for being lazy and letting me past, but I don't like where my future tax is going.
Now for today, Father's Day. My dad loves walking and acting like a tourist. We went to The Rocks and trekked to Opera House and back and bleugh. There was some China performance thing happening and it was horrible. All oldies and everyone watching whilst we freezed to death from the cold sea spray and wind. Lovely. Oooh, who knows that guy all painted with silver and in silver clothes at The Rocks! It was so cute, a little girl thought he was a statue and went up and started prodding him for a few seconds. He suddenly moves and faces her and she freaks and run backwards XD Amazing how he can retain a posture all day.
Lunch was Pancakes On The Rocks. What we ordered: (I remember cause I did the ordering)
- Cheese and bacon crepe
- Mexicana crepe
- Chicken and bacon pizza
- Strawberry patch pancake
- Ribeye steak
- Farmer's brunch crepe
- Thai chicken crepe
- Marshamallow cocoa
- Diet coke soda
- Fanta
- Banana milkshake
This is six people btw o__o
So, that is my weekend.
